Kkwari Gochu 꽈리고추 or Korean Wrinkled Green Pepper (Capscium Annuum) are usually eaten stir-fried, grilled or boiled in Korean recipes. It's also known as shishito peppers.
I love cooking with these - I add them to Jangjorim, Myeolchi Bokkeum and Pork Ribs Jorim. I always plant about a few every year.
Rated around 50 - 200 but some can get as hot as 1000 on the Scoville scale, these peppers are very mild. Their unique smoky flavor is greatly enhanced by roasting or grilling, allowing them to be incorporated into many different recipes.
Plants grow fast and are ready to harvest in 3 months.
